How do I adjust the discount rate being used in my plans?

inStream allows you to adjust the discount rate in the plans at the firm, advisor and plan level.

To adjust the default discount rate being used for the firm, follow these steps.

1. Login as admin

2. Go to Settings>Default settings

3. Select Edit, set your discount rate and click Save. 

To adjust the default discount rate being used at the advisor level, follow these steps:

1. Login as Advisor

2. Go to Settings>Plan Settings>Default settings

3. Select Edit, set your discount rate and click Save. 

Finally, if you only one to adjust the Discount Rate being used for an individual plan, follow these steps:

1. Login as Advisor

2. Navigate to your Client>Plan and select the plan you want to change

3. Click on the gear icon in the top right hand corner of the plan screen.

4. Type in the Discount Rate you want to use in your plan.
